Kathaforge
A thirteen-agent Marathi fiction and microdrama pipeline, with work published on Pratilipi. The essay about it is the one where every agent approved the chapter and the chapter was dead.
Kathaforge is an engine for long-form Marathi and Hindi fiction. Thirteen agents share the work: one generates, one critiques, one checks for cliché, one evaluates emotional honesty, others hold continuity, voice and structure. Chapters have been published on Pratilipi.
It exists because Marathi literary writing is a hard case for these systems. The models over-Sanskritise, flatten register, and pass their own quality checks while producing prose that a Marathi reader puts down after a page. The engine is where I find out exactly where that happens.
What it has taught me
That a council of agents can approve a chapter unanimously and the chapter can still be dead. The system does not replace taste; it interrogates it. Every time I have to explain to the critic agent why something is not working, I learn a little more about what I believe.
